Access to external networking sites for occasional personal use is currently allowed, with the following cautions:

1. No Boeing business use.

   Per PRO-3439, under no circumstances will social networking sites outside the Boeing firewall be used for Boeing company communication or for Boeing business use, unless previously approved by Corporate Communications.

2. No posting of sensitive information.

   Social networking sites are frequently used to gain access to company data and computing systems (Social Engineering). Do not share Boeing proprietary, non-public and classified data, or personal data (names, program affiliations, contact information) pertaining to other Boeing employees.

3. Do not misrepresent The Boeing Company.

   Per the Boeing Code of Conduct, when operating with any non-Boeing audience, employees are to represent The Boeing Company in a way that does not misrepresent, damage or cause embarrassment to The Boeing Company or its employees.

All Boeing Internet access is logged and may be monitored.
